Physical or Occupational Therapy

Our licensed physical therapists are experienced in helping patients recover from fall injuries, joint replacement surgeries, and stroke related disabilities. Our physical therapists, many of whom are doctorate prepared, are here to help with your rehabilitation journey through activities that build strength and endurance. Their goal is always to restore the client to their pre-injury/illness level of function.
Occupational therapy tends to focus more on improving life skills and often involves adaptive tools at times customized by the therapist. These services include but are not limited to:

Speech Therapy
Speech therapy services assist the patient in restoring language and communication skills to improve quality of life. Additional assistance includes evaluation of swallowing disorders and recommendations for upgraded diet.
Medical Social Services
Medical social workers consult with the patient regarding financial, social, and/or transportation problems and help establish long term plans, crisis intervention, and counseling.
